Today I would like to list blogs and websites that I like reading from time to time, to expand my knowledge. Below set of links is also my recommendation for everyone who is inquisitive of new technologies or software development approaches. The list includes also blogs written in polish.

Baeldung

Every time when I’m searching for help with spring google points baeldung.com. This is the place where you can find almost everything about Java, Spring and it’s modules. Authors of content available there prepared explanations on how to use technologies, in a thorough manner, with meaningful examples.

Tutorialspoint

This is a website with tutorials from many technologies. Worth to point out is that every tutorial is created in exactly the same form and structure. Content from this website helped me learn the basics of html, javascript, java, postgres, and many other technologies. Every time when I want to learn a completely new framework or programming language I’m checking this website.

Auth0’s Blog

I like reading articles from auth0’s blog. Posts that You can find there are from many different areas security, frontend, backend and many more. From my perspective, it’s a good source of knowledge when You want to learn basics or do any research if You’re not sure about some technologies. I found there many comparisons of new technologies to technologies that I already know. In that way, I’m able to fully understand if the tool that I intend to use is worth to use and fits best in a case where I would like to plug it in. Articles from auth0 helped me many times.

CSS Tricks

When I started looking into content if this site I didn’t know that CSS is so powerful tool. CSS-Tricks shows that CSS is really advanced tool that helps create a website in a way that I’m even not able to imagine. Articles available there are helping me every day by solving everyday frontend issues. I also like from time to time read one random article just like that to expand horizons.

Totorials Jenkov

Jakob Jenkov’s website is one of the sources of knowledge that helped me during the study when I was learning Java and Java EE. Articles written by Jakob are fully understandable even for not so experienced programmers. Reader visiting this website immediately see that content is created by someone really experienced who know ins and outs of the topic.

Wes Bos

Wes Bos is a guy that is able to explain everything in an easy way. His tutorials are very helpful for people that are learning of improving frontend knowledge. When You will open any video that Web Bos published You will see that he is a guru in JavaScript world. I found there a lot of nice hints in JS or React.js. I really recommend checking his content.

Medium

Medium is a website where almost everyone can add articles from many different areas. I’m reading mostly technical articles placed there. I noticed that many frontend developers are writing posts. Medium is also a good source of inspiration, You can leave your email to be informed about new fascinating articles. In this way, I met completely new frontend libraries and new approaches to programming.

Gutek’s Blog [PL]

Gutek is a person, from my perspective, really famous in Warsaw IT. He writes short posts about technologies that he used to work with. I had an opportunity to spend a lot of time on this blog when I was learning Elixir. Gutek prepared a nice course from Elixir programming language, day after day he posted a new short lesson that made the process of learning very easy and systematic.

Analiza IT [PL]

When I started interesting in a business analysis I found this blog. The author describes how analyst’s work looks like, what such a person should know and describes issues that analysts are solving every day. If you also have interests in business or system analysis I can recommend this source of knowledge. From my perspective one of the best blogs from my list because of unique knowledge that can be found there.

Blog Askomputer [PL]

This blog contains a lot of useful knowledge about IT. The author writes strictly technical posts, explaining how to do some things as well as posts with advices about software development, service management or even about people working in IT. Arkadiusz have also own company and cooperates with commonly known brands. Experience gathered in own company makes content on the blog really practical and taken from his experience. I met an author personally on LinkedIn Local meeting which I mentioned on my blog.

DevStyle [PL]

 Maciej Aniserowicz’s blog is less technical. You can find there mostly posts where an author expresses his thoughts about different areas from software development. Maciej also records daily vlog about similar topics.

Summary
